Missing channels with error code 771

Due to high call volumes, I can’t get through to CS or on live chat. I last spoke with someone Saturday & was told it was an “internal broadcasting issue” & it was being worked on. It’s now 48 hours later & I’m still missing channels with error code 771. To be clear, I’m not missing every channel, but I am missing quite a few that I watch regularly. Could this be due to contract negotiations? If so, why was this done with no warning to customers to expect channel outages? How long should it be until all my channels are restored?

771 is a dish alignment problem, there are videos on youtube if you want to try it yourself or call/chat to setup a service call $99 covered if you have the protection plan.

Don't know why you where told otherwise.

so a dish alignment would knock out some but not all of my channels? And if that’s the problem, why was I told on Saturday that it’s an internal broadcasting issue?
