My Direct tv app will only connect to my DVR when I am at and connected to my hope wireless network.

I have a direct tv wireless genie. I can connect the app to the dvr when at home and View or watch all my recordings. The Dvr gives me the choice of choosing all dvr Or just the living room (which I the correct dvr) If I am away from home the dvr Will only give the choice of “allI dvr’s” and I can see a random partial list that does not show recent recordings. Do you have any help for me?

DirecTV removed the out-of-home DVR access feature back in March 2019.  You can view some shows by streaming from the networks' OnDemand library using the App. Or download shows from your Genie DVR when you're at home and view them later out-of-home.
