My Downloads Blank but Files in Directory

Hello.

I had my DirecTV app setup to use my SD card. I had a bunch of programs downloaded there. However, one day "My Downloads" was blank. The files still exist in the Android\data\com.directv.dvrscheduler\files\QewVideos directory. I noticed the app was now set to use Internal Storage again.

I setup the app to use the SD card again. However, "My Downloads" is STILL blank. If I click on a program to download, it claims to download it... however there's no new files in the QewVideos directory. I could go through and download everything on my DVR again. However, I had some programs I had downloaded to my phone prior to deleting it on my DVR.

Is there a way for the app to recognize the files that are in the QewVideos directory and bring them up under "My Downloads"?

Thanks.

We're happy to help, @countbedrock.

We have a great article for DirecTV App Help & Sign In Solutions from AT&T that will help you troubleshoot the app. Start with the section titled App troubleshooting. If you need further assistance, let us know.

Hi there.

Unfortunately, this doesn't help at all. My issue isn't signing in. My issue is that my recordings are gone... even though the files are still in the regular locations.

Is there a way to "import" the contents of those files into the DirecTV app?

Thanks.

AFAIK you can't use SD cards to store DTV programs as that will allow them to be copied or played on other devices which is against the TOS.
