NBA League Pass Channels Gone

This is not a billing question. I am an NBA League Pass subscriber. It is listed on my account programming that I pay for and should have access to. When I try to watch, channel 750 simply shows the DirecTV logo like what happens when you don't subscribe to a service. Channels 751-768 are simply not present on my guide. I spoke with customer service twice. The first time, they sent me a refresh or reset code and asked that I power down and back up again. This did not solve the problem. The second time, they verified that indeed the channels were not there as an option on my guide. She said she was escalating the issue and I would get a call back on Tuesday. I still have not received a call back.

The fact that there are no new games is not the issue. The issue is that I am a subscriber, and I cannot access the channels. This question was originally merged with the thread about potential sports package refunds, but it does not belong there, as it is an access to programming problem. Obviously I would like to not be billed for programming I cannot access, but the primary problem is that I would like restoration of access.

Can anyone please help with the problem that I do not have access to the League Pass channels.

@TPirger,

We checked with Care and were told that, while NBA is airing classic games and other content, that content has to be accessed via the NBA App.

You should have access to the NBA App as part of your subscription to NBA League Pass, and you should be able to log in with your DIRECTV credentials.

The NBA App provides access to the NBA’s library of on demand content - including full length and condensed replays of all games from the 2019-20 season as well an expansive archive of classic games and other content.

Hope this helps,

@ATTCommunityTeam

Thank you for your reply. When I log in to NBA.com with my DirecTV credentials, it says I do not subscribe to League Pass, but as indicated by my DirecTV bill and the programming listed on my account, I am a subscriber through DirecTV. Your response indicates that I "should" have access to it. But I do not. Please correct and advise.

This response doesn't address the fact that channel 750 is not available and channels 751-768 do not appear on my guide at all. To be clear, is it your position that channels 750-765 are not supposed to be accessible at this time to customers who pay you for these channels, and there is as yet no refund planned?

Thank you for your response.

Since there are no games currently, I bet they took the channels down. If the channels were still there, the Directv logo is all you’d see on them too. There is likely nothing to worry about until they resume play. If the channels don’t come back, then there’s an issue.

Unfortunately this is not the case. There is programming. In fact, NBA League Pass is offering a free trial and playing all the games from the season and some classic games. The channels are still running and most DirecTV subscribers can watch them with the free preview. Customer service told me they should be there, but somehow verified that they are not listed on my guide. She said she was "escalating" the issue for me and would call me back. But this has not happened.
