NBC sports app no longer authorized

I used to be able to watch NBC Sports Bay Area on the NBC Sports app using my DirecTV login. Beginning 24 November 2022 I am receiving "customer not authorized" or "not subscribed" errors. Regional sports are definitely part of my programming and I am able to watch the channel on my satellite box. It appears there is some problem authenticating my account so I would like to know if there is any solution out there? NBC Sports directs me to DirecTV and DirecTV has been unable to repair the problem.

Hi @avb1138, we want to help find a solution for this.

Let's gather some details to make sure we get this pointed into the right direction:

-Are your credentials working if you log into the DIRECTV app?
-Which device are you using to get access to the app? And, have you tried logging from different devices getting the same result?

Meanwhile, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the app as a basic troubleshooting. Let us know how it goes.

I am able to use the DirecTV mobile app with no issue on Android phone and Roku stick. However the regional sports channels 696 and 698 are not available on the Directv app. I used to be able to access these channels on the NBC Sports app using my Directv login, but since 24 November that app says I am not authorized or subscribed. I have tried 2 Android, 2 Roku and 1 FireTV devices to access NBCSPORTS app, and have uninstalled and reinstalled on these devices but continue to receive not authorized or not subscribed errors. It appears NBC sports can no longer authenticate my Directv account.
