New DirecTV App won't let me watch certain channels

Since DirecTV is forcing people to move to the new app when launching the old app, I gave it a try, but didn't delete my old app (thankfully).  

This new App is terrible! Did they even test it before releasing to the public and removing the old version from the App Store? 

The new App won't let you watch certain live channels.  Saying "The owner of this channel has made it available to watch only on your TV."

But when you launch the old App, the same channel plays fine.  This happens with several different channels.  

I should be able to watch what I pay for, on my mobile device without limitations.  

Are they planning to get all live channels working on the new App that work on the old App? 

It's frustrating that DirecTV is such a big company, we pay good money for the service, and the quality of said service is horrible. 

Releasing an App and telling customers to use the new App from now on, when it doesn't fully work is amateurish.

No one here knows when the bugs with the new app will be fixed. You’ll have to continue using the older App by clicking ‘Get Now’ on the popup and re-entering the old app without ending its instance.

Yeah, you can tap anywhere but the Get Now button and it will close that message. 

I'm continuing to use the old App since the functionality isn't the same between the two.  Just would like some reasoning/acknowledgement from DirecTV on this.  It's just unacceptable.

This is a customer to  customer forum the only people from DTV that read these posts are the moderators and the help people and employees on their own time.
