New Directv App

I noticed that the new version of the Directv App doesn't allow one to access their recorded programs from their home DVR....Is this really true?  Gives an error message that says "Unavailable on this device"  No On Demand option".  So, we can't watch any live sports or news because it isn't "On Demand" (even though we paid for these services)?  How is that an IMPROVEMENT?

also noticed that they have restricted ability to watch certain channels from one's package.  For example, Sportsnet LA is gone on the Guide.  No ability to watch Dodger games on IPAD.  When one does a search, it says "subscribe" which I interpret as saying "subscribe to MLB.tv" because there isn't a separate App for this channel.  Of course, the MLB.tv app doesn't allow "in market" games.  So, no Dodger games?!

@j8535 for now I would use the ‘DIRECTV to Go’ app until they completely fix all the bugs with the all-in-one DIRECTV app. I myself noticed the bugs with DVR as well, although not similar to you. I think you may have ‘Streamable’ ticked with the blue color. If it is ticked, you will only see DVR recordings that are available via On-Demand

Streamable not checked yet about 50% of my recordings get that same message and are not available to watch on iPad.  DTV is just so far behind the times.  Pay over $150/mth and can’t watch my recordings?  Just makes no sense.  Hope it’s temporary.

This ain’t a “bug”…this is clearly Directtv and another money grab.

We appreciate you taking the time to make sure that we are aware of the issue. The new DIRECTV app recently launched for our customers to download. We are still working on an improvement for these situations. The DIRECTV satellite app will be available for 60 days after the migration to the new app has begun, so you can still enjoy our service using it while the new DIRECTV app has all the features and enhancements implemented.

This new “app” is pathetic.  1/3 of the channels that were available to stream on my old app. Interface (Edited per community guidelines).  How exactly is this an “upgrade”?!
