new vizio issues

I have finally found someone who is having the same problem what type of 3d vizio do you have. I have the 55'' XVT3D554SV. Can you get any 3D channels what kind of Directv Reciever do you have? I have HR24-500 and can't get channel 106 espn 3d to work and rest work fine. Happy and not to happy that im not the only person with this problem. I think is a directv problem they just wont admit it. Brand new TV and cant get any sports in 3D a damn shame.

hr22-100 Brand new DVR receiver. Someone said the receiver is waiting for confirmation from the television that its on the correct resolution. The question is why this is needed. Pretty discouraged that we couldn’t watch the Knicks heat game in 3D or any sports. I feel like we are stuck in the middle. VIZIO opened a case number for me. Either VIZIO or directV will need to make a change. I can’t believe we are the only ones having issues. Someone onVIZIOreviews said this issue was resolved. He didn't say how.

how thats bs if this doesnt get fix in the next 5 days im going to take this tv back before the national champ, game I know its on directv part cause lots of people are having the same issues with other tv's aswell. There problem seems to be with the connection between the directv and an AV receiver than to the tv. Connecting the receiver straight to the tv fix that issue. Are issue is straight connection to the tv. I just got a new message form the receiver stated," This 3d programming is content protected. Weird this receiver is all out of wack.

If a direct connection works, the problem is with the AVR's internal switch, not the TV. DirecTV uses a different method of supporting 3d that does not require a high speed HDMI cable. Not all AVRs that say they are 3d capable support DirecTV's method.

My new 3DTV is directly connected to HR24-500 via hdmi cable 1.4, I get channel 103,104,105 but can not get channel 106 to work. ESPN 3D gives me error (797) everytime.

I had the same problem last night with a vizio 554 tv.  i have the tv connected directly to an hr23 reciever.  missed the game and not happy.  I did watch the hockey game in 3d last week and it was spectacular.

Have you ever got this TV to pick up any ESPN 3D programming? Channel 106 or VOD programming coming from channel 106? Yes Raiders150 is me I started that thread over there. Trying to get someone to pay attention and helps us.

Only ever got Channel 103 to work in 3D.  Yesterday was the first time I tried any other channel.  I have only had the TV 6 days so I haven't had much time to play with it but it pis*ed me off last night.

Same here. Seems to be a Directv problem. When I first got the TV, that first day, channel 103 was showing a replay of the X Games which was first aired couple months back on ESPN 3D. I could see that just fine, until these last couple of weeks. Now couple days back they showed it again on channel 103 and it gave me the same error message. Seems directv signal of any programming coming from channel 106 is messing up the directv receivers.

The VOD channel is screwed up for me. I'm sending a note to a tech support guy that does posts for TKGs.

I just hope we can get this resolved thanks for the help. I'm just happy that I'm not alone in this problem.

Be aware the only problem I'm seeing right now is with 105. The other channels are working as far as I can tell.

 The problem with new Vizio 3Dtv is channel 106 and is programming not coming in. ex 797?
