Nexstar negotiations

I find it very interested on my blackout channels the Directv graphic recommends watching missed programming on streaming networks.  The thought crossed my mind why am I even bothering with Directv?  Perhaps I should cancel it & depend on streaming for all programming.  It would save lots of money & a lot of frustration.  I have been a Directv customer for over 25 years.

That's certainly an option. More and more folks are doing exactly that.

All Streaming services have to renew their contracts with the content providers even those without live TV channels.

I find it odd they're recommending Hulu...but what they're actually doing is recommending Hulu's library, not their live TV service.

If someone pays for Hulu+Live TV, that service will go through contract renewals for their live channels.

The library (stuff that isn't Fox or ABC programming) goes through contract renewals like Netflix does. The Jurassic Park movies are on Hulu now, but they may not be there in October.
