NFL Sunday Ticket Titans vs Browns
Yesterday, I was unable to watch the Titans vs Browns via the NFL Sunday ticket. I got a message saying that the game was blacked out for me. The game was not being televised on one of my local channels. I live more than 150 miles from Cleveland (where the game was played) and the game was sold out. Why would I have a black out? I spent more than an hour on the phone with customer service and no one could give me a reason. As silly as this may seem, the only reason that I have directv is to watch the Browns on the Sunday ticket. This is my third year with directv and I have not had an issue the previous two years. I really need to talk to someone who can tell me why the game was blacked out for me. The customer service reps that I talked to yesterday did not seem interested in finding out why I had the black out. One rep even said that there was no one in their organization who could tell me why I had the black out. Does anyone have a good phone number or email address that I can use to talk to someone about this. My fear is that I will be blacked out for future games thus, rendering my directv useless.

I understand that the NFL decides the black outs. Cleveland has not had a black out since 1995. The game was sold out. I live more than 150 miles from Cleveland. There is absolutely no reason the NFL would black out this game. Based on other posts in this forum, it appears that other games were blacked out for others where there is no evidence to support an NFL black out.
