NFL Ticket app on fire stick - How do I sign in?
I installed the NFL Ticket app on my fire stick. I tried signing in with my ATT credentials - the same ones I use to sign into DirecTv.com. But, it says my e-mail address is not on file.
How do I stream the NFL Ticket to my TV? I have no problem streaming to my PC after logging into ATT and following the TV link to DirecTv and streaming then.

And ATT "Chat" is having problems again. I also followed the link at TTT for TV and on the DirecTV site there was a "CHAT" button that ... does nothing. ATT has so messed up what was great DirecTv support. It is pouring down here in The South where I live so I was hoping to get The Ticket app to work as easy as the ESPN app where I can watch ESPN Plus.
I am able to go to DirecTv and stream the Ticket but I'd rather see games on my huge high-end LG TV.

Unbelievable. I had a chat window open for nearly an hour waiting for the chat. I got to "14" minutes estimated. Then eventually "4 minutes" and "stand by your device". Then I hit the jackpot - I was told I was next. Then ... the web page updated saying I was being redirected. I ended up back at the DirectTV stream page where I started the chat. What a great waste of my time.

Hello @rdholland , We would be happy to assist.
Make sure that your firestick and NFL SUNDAY TICKET app are up to date. Also be sure that you are using a NFL SUNDAY TICKET compatible device , devices that are not compatible will let you download the app but will not let you login and stream.
Let us know if this helps.

Hi help. R.D. Here. The Fire TV has OS 7.2.4.2. I downloaded the DTV apps yesterday so they should be up to date. You didn't actually say if my ATT/DirecTV login and pwd are valid for streaming.
Are they?
When I follow ATT/DirecTV help links regarding streaming, I am asked to purchase one of several packages. Since I have a DirecTV satellite package and the Ticket, I assumed I could use the Fire TV app to stream my channels. I definitely was able to sign in to my DTV account and stream games on my computer.

Hello @rdholland! Thank you for reaching out.
You can only sign in using your DIRECTV login on your web browser using a PC, phone or tablet.
It will not work if you attempt to sign in on the TV. That is only for DIRECTV STREAMING services.
DIRECTV satellite only allows you to sign in and stream using the web browser.
We hope this helps.

Well that explains it. I am not going to pay twice for the same programming. I'll run HDMI cables from my computer to my TVs. Or make my computer a wifi hot spot. There are a number of options available. Odd that DirecTV makes it more difficult than all my other streaming options. Especially considering how many customers it has lost in the last few years.

I don't know why directv did not change the name of the streaming service to be something completely different. It causes great confusion.

No. What is odd is that DTV has a chance to retain some of its subscribers by letting them receive their programming via a dish or their internet connection. Its the same programming and they should be as flexible as possible. Its as stupid of a business move as one can imagine. Take me for instance. My receiver is now tied to a specific room in the house. I have cables in other rooms that I have to which I have to connect another device. We have changed our home and now my DVR is connected to a TV in a room we rarely use now. When I moved the DVR to the room we now use as our primary room and where I have my most expensive and best TV, it would not work. I have to rerun the cable to that room. That's a pain. I also have the rain issue and suffered with watching low def NFL games last Sunday. And, with a smart TV and my Apple box and Amazon box all hooked up to my best TV and the capability to call out voice commands to watch whatever I want to watch on a plethora of "free apps" like IMDB tv, Pluto ... as well as hundreds of free channels LG provides, not to mention HULU/ESPN Plus etc., etc., I still have to pick up a DTV remote to change channels for the ever more rare case that I even turn that device on.
When I saw the DTV and NFL Ticket apps, I thought "Finally, they have seen the light!" I can say "Alexa, play Fox News". "Alexa, turn on the Dallas Cowboys." Oh, wait, Alexa turns on Fox News on HULU.
And no, I'm not buying that DTV "streaming" device. I have all the devices I need. I've been with DTV since the day the NFL Ticket played the first game on DTV. Since the last weekend it had games on this last January, I have rarely used DTV. Streaming was their last chance to retain my account. When the Ticket deal expires, I now see no reason to keep their service. They have even blown the chance to provide 4k. Sports in 4k should have been their number one priority. Instead, they have almost no content worth watching. If I want to watch an NFL game in 4k guess where I find it?

DIRECTV pays for its content on a "screens" model, they track the number of "large screens" based on the number of receivers you have and pay their providers accordingly. If you could watch TV content using a streaming app on a streaming device, this would break the agreements with the content providers.
DIRECTV STREAM has a different payment model for its content. You cannot directly compare the two.

As I said, DTV has missed the boat. Geesh, I just ran a HDMI cable from my computer to my big 65 inch LG ... monitor. Then I streamed from the STV site.
Since I have other TVs that are further away, I figure I'll just get a wifi adapter and turn my Win 10 box into a hot spot. When this NFL season is over, so too will be my DTV account.
Man, how does HULU do it? Or Amazon. Or Netflix ....

DIRECTV STREAM, HULU, Amazon Video and Netflix have a different content payment arrangement from DIRECTV. DIRECTV pays for content pretty much like a CATV company does.

Like I said, that's DTV's business problem. My problem is solved. And I can easily make my PC a hdmi hot spot (meant that earlier instead of wifi). Check out the various casting options like ChromeCast Ultra or, for example, Skylarx. As far as the DTV streaming via the PC browser is concerned, its no different than running the hdmi cable to your monitors.

That's probably why AT&T U-verse lost its website option (UVERSE.COM).
