Hi @BonDen, thanks for contacting us.

Let me explain this for you, we regularly make changes to plans and pricing across our video products.

In this case, since 03/10/2022 some residential customers with low to no viewership of the A&E channels (History included), had them removed. For the ones that were impacted, notification was sent on October's 2021 bill or via email on November.

No worries, there's still an option to have this channel back in, you can request to have the channels back in your channel lineup at no additional cost.

What error message do you get when viewing the channel? And when did this start happening? Also what is the receiver model? Thanks

I receive error code 721- Channel Not Purchased.

We do not watch the History Channel on a daily basis and noticed this error message today, 4/3/2022

The Receiver is 0239-1367-8480

@BonDen Completely off topic, but you say that the Receiver ID starts with 0239. That sure sounds like an older generation receiver. What's the model number of that receiver?

The receiver model number is HR54/200.  The number I mentioned above is the receiver ID.   When I called to inquire about the History channel, the representative informed me that channel was removed and is no longer being offered through our package plan although a monthly fee would be applied if we wished to add it.

I submitted my request for A&E and History channels 3 days ago and still don’t see them back in lineup.  Did they move to a different channel?
