On Demand Episode wont record error 955
Episode 6 and 8 out of 10 episodes on Showtime On Demand Series The First Lady will NOT record. Program not found. Receiver has been reset, internet signal is very strong. Looking for answers

Hello Lisakc. Thank you for reaching DIRECTV support. Most of the time, you can get this error due to a failure during the download of the episode. Let's find out what is going on. Do you have DIRECTV SATELLITE or STREAM service? Have you tried to delete and download the VOD title again? Is this issue happening on all of your shows? Helmer, DIRECTV Community Specialist.

DTV satellite has no control over On Demand.

I have dtv satellite service, it only happens on random episodes within a series.

This is happening with the series The First Lady, episode 6 and 8. I truly believe that the info is NOT on the DTV or Showtime server, I am getting a new receiver through DTV, they think that is the problem, I disagree. Guess we will see!

DTV doesn't have servers, all On Demand comes from the channel servers.

Well then the showtime server axed it, in my opinion, they should be working with the network

DTV is a satellite TV provider that added free internet functions, they don't monitor them.
