Pairing Remote Control with Sound Bar

How can I pair my Yamaha YAS-209 sound bar? When going through the normal

pairing steps it does not have this particular model as an option to select and when selecting the “I don’t know my model number” it gives 97 options and after I goong through all of them and none of them worked! This is a fairly popular sound bar model available at Costco and should be able to be paired with Directv remote controls. Purchasing a universal remote is not the answer.
