pandora app will not launch

Is the receiver still connected to the internet?

Yes. I've tried rebooting the modem as well as the DirecTv receiver but it still won't load. I'm connected to the internet and all other apps launch with the exception of Pandora. It's puzzling.

I just tried it with the same problems as you but I can just turn the receiver off to return it to normal.

The Pandora website is working.

I'm experiencing the same problem. Previously I could fix the app by resetting the DVR. Now there is no cure. I try to start Pandora and all I get is the PLEASE WAIT... message, and the only way to exit that screen is to turn the DVR off and back on.

I'm having the same issue.   Had been able to get Pandora working after resetting the DVR.   Now it won't work at all.   Continues with PLEASE WAIT....message and I have to turn off everything to get it to stop.    Multiple tries with resetting DVR and card and still doesn't work.   Other APPs are fine.    Appreciate any suggestions. 

Before I started having the same issue I did initially receive a message that Pandora was undergoing maintenance. When I tried to access it later, the app wouldn't load, and I got the "Please wait..." message. Numerous attempts and still the same result. I'm wondering if DirecTv isn't to blame. I've tried everything I know how to do. I'll just wait it out and see if things eventually reset.

I've been able to use Pandora on other internet connected devices while the DirecTv option doesn't work.    It isn't the first time.    

I can also use Pandora on other connected devices. Pandora doesn't load on DirecTv however.

It is now working here.

Just checked. The Pandora app is up and running.
