Peacock App not loading

Hello,

We are not able to load the Peacock App on our Gemini.  It has worked for the past 7+ days but yesterday it freezes with the Peacock banner and Olympic rings.  Nothing else. We can open Peacock on our phones and computers so no issue there.  Also we can open Apple TV and Amazon from the Apps on the Gemini so no issue there.

We have tried-

Force quit app then restart.

Remove from MyApp then add.

Unplugged power to Gemini, wait 20+ seconds, plug back power.

Reset Gemini by using red button.

Unplug power to internet to reset.

Looking for any other advice

I am having the same problem loading Peacock.  All other DirecTV apps load fine.  How can I repair this?  (7/24/2024)

We have the same issue.  Testing Direct TV box for large condo building.  Might not recommend to HOA

DTV doesn't do condo installs that is done by a MDU(Multi Dwelling Unit) installer and they also do the maintenance.  DTV is a  sat TV provider, streaming is a secondary perk not under their control.

Forget the condo building comment.  Irrelevant.  Individual asked to try out.  Peacock not working.  Thanks anyways

Hello, I am also having this problem.  The app was working as recently as last week but it stopped loading a couple of days ago (when Olympics started).  Peacock works on all my other devices (laptop, tablets), so this is an issue on the streaming device.  My streaming device was originally from my ATT provider in 2020, but Directv took over the service a couple years ago still using the same streaming box.

My symptom was a simple black screen, so this appears different from your issue.

To resolve, I deleted the Peacock app, then reinstalled it. I didn't just remove the tile. I removed the runtime to make sure nothing remained.

I communicated with DirecTV and worked with them to resolve my issue with Peacock not launching from my TV streaming service.  They did something to force an app update on my device. I then had to go reset factory settings, relaunch, and update the Peacock app (after logging into google play on the device).  That resolved the issue for me.  So I suggest for anyone having this issue is to contact DirecTV customer service for their assistance and guidance.

I have the same problem. I have had to reset Direct tv several times and all the logging in with their antiquated system is getting very old.

Has anyone figured out how to resolve this issue without spending time on the phone and the having to reset all log ins?
