Plagued with error 775 codes on all receivers! DTV tech has been here once already
My DirecTV setup is having intermittent 775 error codes flashing on all of my 5 devices. It will work fine for several hours and then the picture freezes up for anywhere from 1-2 minutes then kicks back in. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it that I can figure out. I have an unobstructed view of the southern sky. I had a tech come out and he checked the LNB (it was fine test signals were in the upper 90’s to 100) and he replaced the SWM brick at my request. It worked for about 1 day and then the same issue started back up. So I called the loyalty number he gave me for faster response time. The earliest they can get one out here again is July 1st. Needless to say I’m seriously considering canceling the service all together and going with cable. Should I even bother having them come back out again? I’m beyond frustrated with the tech scheduling delays.
