Play/Pause Banner Disappeared

The Play/Pause/FF/Rewind banner at the bottom of screen suddenly stopped appearing when I initiate one of those functions. For example, when I pause, the banner would show up at the bottom of my screen with a timeline of where I am in the program. Now, the program pauses but there is no display at all on the screen. How can I fix this. It worked all along and suddenly stopped and restarting and resetting have not resolved it.

Have you tried a red button reset?

Yep. I reset from the settings menu, then reset with red button, then reset by unplugging for a minute and plugging back in. Still not reappearing. I don’t know if others are experiencing the same issue? Was there a firmware update and maybe a patch to fix it will be forthcoming? I don’t know what would cause something like this or why resetting would not fix it.

Thanks for reaching out with your questions on Play/Pause Banner Disappearing @DaveSnyder.

Just as you gave the example, the screen will go hibernation mode after some time been paused and idle. That is how the user interface works. To return to the banner, just press any of the play, pause, fast-forward, and rewind button twice.

The banner will show up again and you can proceed and play.

Let us know if that helps. Feel free to reach out if have other questions.

I wish DeShawnae had answered the question for all of us to see (That is why we come here) as I have the exact same problem. When I pause a program there is no information

that shows up on the screen. Fast forward and rewind do not show

where I am in the program.
