Project Runway in HD

I have HD service, and was glad to see that Lifetime HD was added recently.  It does in fact show up as "Lifetime HD" on my guide.  The show "Project Runway" is filmed in HD and in fact has the little HD symbol in the guide.  And yet, amazingly, it is not in high def.  It is letterboxed and also has the side boxes.

Huh?  Can someone explain this to me?  I happened to notice that another show on Lifetime was in real honest-to-goodness HD.  Why is Project Runway singled out?  Will it be in real HD next week?
