Rented movie stopped halfway through

We rented a movie yesterday, we were halfway through it, and the screen went black and won’t play the rest of the movie. It expires tomorrow and we paid to rent it. Everything has been turned off and on multiple times, reset, etc. The internet connection is fine and all equipment is in working order. What do we do?

Have you tried resetting and playing the movie again?

Yep reset everything multiple times. Can I call directv and get my money back?

Did you download/record the movie, or were you watching it live on a PPV channel?
