Sat signal vs Streaming

Over the last few days, more and more I see channels diverting me to streaming signal from satellite signal, even though there are not weather etc. problems.  What is this about?   Thanks.

Those signal readings should be fine.  Not sure why it's steering you to the streaming version of the channel.

The next time you are directed to the streaming version of the channel check your signal stats then just to make sure that none of them are dropping low.  Because it could be an intermittent loss of signal something that happens once in a while.

You are welcome and I hope that you can figure out what is causing your Sat. to defer you to streaming!  If you ever figure it out please come back and let us know I would be interested to find out the cause just in case anyone else runs into this same thing.

Will do.  I do not think it is a signal problem.

If it isn’t a satellite signal problem then you should try disconnecting your receiver from the Internet as that will allow it to fetch an error code for further investigation. Since this broadband feature is only available in model HR44 or above, you either disconnect the Ethernet cord or rerun Internet Sertup and disconnect from your wireless network. From there, look for an error code or at least a pattern of the same error code at certain times.

Excellent idea.  Will try this route today, and thank you for your help.
