Search not finding anything beyond a week out

So, I was scanning things on my schedule for recording to record them later (because I'm a bit short of space).  All of the revealed alternative showings are showing up until June 11th.  I thought that was suspicious, so I went into the guide and looked at the 12th and 13th.  Several of the things I was looking for were there.  When I pressed the Info button on those items, they showed the earlier airdates, but not the later ones (and I know for a fact that in at least one case, there was a later date).

I have already tried forcing a hard restart (i.e. pressing the red button) on the DVR.

Any ideas?

@Petrukio145014 not at all. Think of clearmybox as a command that is equivalent to restarting the receiver twice to clear the 'cobwebs' and current 'bugs' that the receiver has. This does NOT affect any recordings or upcoming recordings. 

Also, the receiver cannot store anything more than 14 days of upcoming content. The Advanced Program Guide (APG) does not go beyond that scope.

TL;DR There are things on the guide for the relevant dates, but selecting Other Showings doesn't show anything after June 11th.  And not many of those either, but I'm not sure if that's because not many are on that date or because there's a particular time on that date that is the issue.  Though, looking at it, I'm not seeing anything scheduled later than 7pm Central on the 11th -- which is the time it usually uses for being a 'new day' in downloads.  It DOES have data through 7pm on the 17th, it just doesn't seem to be able to search out airtimes from the 11th at 7pm to the 17th.

What channels or shows are you trying to record? Are you scheduling your recordings at DIRECTV website, from a smartphone/tablet, or using your DIRECTV remote? Please let us know this information, along with the model of your receiver to get started.

The main receiver is a HR54-200, but this happens with both that and the client devices.  I am using my remote.  In this case, I'm trying to find movies, but the same occurs if I'm recording TV shows.  These are pay channels (HBO, etc).

Let's take a practical example.  The 1986 movie, Enemy Mine, is an old favorite of mine.  When I search for it (by pressing the - button on the remote), it says:

Watch Now [HD 1080p] $ 1100 Cinema

Watch Now [HD 1080p] 1535 ENCORE

Tue, Jun 7 10:42p  541 SEAC

Tue, Jun 7 10:42p [HD] 541 SEACHD

Thu, Jun 9, 7:22a   530 STZB

Thu, Jun 9, 7:22a [HD]   530 STZBHD

And it stops there.  But if I press the Guide button and scroll over to the 12th, I can see it on 541 SEAC at 6:28am.  I see it again at 6:09pm on the same channel.  But neither of these showings are showing up above.  And Enemy Mine is far from the only movie (or TV show) that this is happening for.

Update: After a reset and unplugging the receiver for a minute (and a 15-minute restart)... no change.  Waiting on further updates.

At this point, I'm wondering if there's a way to purge the downloaded schedule (but not what I currently HAVE scheduled for recording) and just restart the download.

You can try a search for         clearmybox           that will dump the guide data and other things and it will take a day or 2 to rebuild, any recording set to record will.

With a name like that, I have to ask to be sure: clearmybox does not clear anything currently recorded, nor does it clear anything currently on Upcoming Recordings?  The latter I can probably get around without too much difficulty, but the former would be an issue.

Right. A keyword search for CLEARMYBOX will not erase recordings or settings. It forces the DVR to rebuild its Guide Data.

No, I know about the 14 day limit on upcoming recordings.  I did a bit of searching and found out about the double-reset thing.  Our receiver is now in the middle of the first reset.  Hopefully the second will fix the issue.  If not, I'll probably be back.  (Though why the tech support person I talked to didn't mention this, I'm not sure.)

@Petrukio145014 Reset your box twice within 10 minutes. It will take up to 48 hrs after pressing the red button for the guide to rebuild and reload everything.

It's in the middle of reloading everything now.  The question becomes what to do if this doesn't fix the issue.  DirecTV called, but their suggestion is to replace the box.  Which would be fine.... if it didn't result in me losing years worth of recordings in the process.

I'm wondering if, at this point, if this doesn't fix it, waiting until after the period it still seems to be tracking to (June 11th, 7pm Central) will do it.  I just have no idea why it's reading airtimes for PART of its guide data, but not the rest.  And if I'm the only one this is happening to.

Could you confirm which channels are you trying to record? Are you using a device to schedule your recordings through the DIRECTV page or are you using your remote control? Let me know the answers, so we can check what's going on.
