setting up media share

  My DVR is a HR 22-100

  My Operating System is XP w/ser. pac. 2

  Wired network, all installed by Direct and working.

I am trying to set up media share, for the first time. I found instructions but they don't fit the real life situation.

  To set up the receiver;

You need one of the following receivers: DIRECTV Plus^®HD DVR, DIRECTV Plus^®DVR (R22 model only) or DIRECTV^®HD (H21 and H23 models only). To set up Media Share, follow the steps below:

1. Press the Menubutton
2. Select System Setup or Parental, Fav's, & Setupdepending on the receiver and the menu items displayed.
3. Select Setup or System setup, depending on the receiver and the menu items displayed.
4. Select Network Setup.
5. Select Connect Now.
6. Follow the steps on the TV's screen.

  I am good until I get to number 5, there is no "connect now"

  When I set up the pc the only thing similar is "click on the start button" after that nothing fits. I think the instructions are for Vista or ...

  The third step is "set up a network"
