Show Installed App Using Direct TV Remote
Apparently Direct TV does not consider Paramount Plus to be a major streaming like US Open Experience or ScoreGuide or Music Choice or I Heart Radio since it is not preloaded.
So I downloaded it to each of my three TVs. Now that it is downloaded, it still does not show when I select Apps using the DTV remote. I have to use the remote that came with the TV.
Is there any way to get Paramount Plus to show without having to use multiple remotes? Can the "box" be taught what apps are on the connected devices or do they exist in separate universes.
I have the application downloaded and installed on a Samsung 8, Samsung 6 and Vizio TV.

DTV Satellite service only has a few apps built in and you can't add any more, as for your TV apps you need to go to that TVs manuals to find out how to add/remove them.

DTV remotes are made to only control DTV receivers not TV functions except for volume. There is one exception the new C71WK Gemini and its remote can control both streaming and DTV satellite services.

If the remote doesn't control streaming services, then why do some of them show up when the TV starts up and when I use the DTV remote to select Apps? I can run Amazon Prime from my DTV remote because it shows as one of the handful of services available when I select Apps.
How do I add Paramount Plus to the list of apps that show when I select Apps with my DTV remote?

To expand on what I just posted. If I select Menu on my Vizio TV I can scroll down to apps. I get:
Music Choice
Pandora
I heart Radio
Score Guide
Select TV Apps - when I press this, the apps move to the side of the screen
US Open Experience
Weather
Accuweather
None of these have I subscribed to.

I understand. Direct TV determines what it thinks I want to see and that these are not customer-configurable. That makes sense.
It's not a technological issue but a business decision. Paramount wasn't willing to "pay up" so their streaming service is not available through the Direct TV menu.
Like everything else in American Business, it's all about the money and how to fleece it from the customers.
Thanks for the response.

Not sure what is happening as Amazon Prime nor any other streaming services are apps that DTV sat service has built in as they are competitors. When I open the apps Amazon Prime is not there but since I only have an HR24 I don't have the new Genie software.
