What equipment do you have?

Re: Smart tv no HDMI1 I just moved this tv from an unoccupied bedroom into my bedroom. This is the first time I myself have set up a smart tv. I have attached coax to small box and plugged a cable into HDMI slot on this box, the other end into the HDMI slot on the back of the tv. I have used the input button on tv remote but it does not have a Hdmi1 choice, only HDMI2. I can get the app screen up but tv keeps telling me I don't have a connection or it will tell me my receiver has not been set up. The small box and tv are plugged in. Please help!
