It's easy to peak signal readings on the main 101ºW satellite. The challenge for proper HD reception is to also peak 99 and 103º satellites. How are your other transponder readings on the 99º satellite?

Those readings on the 99º satellite are too low. How are the 103º satellite readings?
If only the 99º readings are low, then a tree is blocking your dish's view of that satellite, You'll have to move the dish or the tree.
If both 99 and 103º readings are low, then it's like just a dish misalignment. Here's a YouTube video that shows how to peak (dither) your dish to maximize all satellites ....

You can have good 101 signals and poor signals on all the HD sats. Your dish is in no way "spot on" for alignment, even without the tree issue.

Are you having signal strength issues? If so, does it happen on this channel specifically or more? Error 771 should be there to help you understand that your satellite dish is not aligned correctly with the satellites.

You can't fine tune a single sat or transponder and DTV does change the transponders at times.

My dish alignment is spot on! The problem I've noticed is only on DTV channel 674. I'm trying to determine if it's my tree limb or my neighbor's that is occasionally causing pixelation. I want to use the signal strength beeper on the correct satellite/transponder to determine which it is.

Thanks a bunch for answering!!! 21% I know that's low but when it's not pixelated, the picture is fine. It's not always pixelated. Only when the wind is up a bit, the small tree limbs move around. Never had this before. Only recently when the limbs grew and leaves popped out.

Trying to watch PGA U.S. Open on channel 904 and it's pixelating also. All xponders on 99ca have 19-24% signal strength.

that's incredibly low. it's a wonder you get a picture at all. you need to move the dish to somewhere where the trees aren't blocking the signal. there are apps for your cellphone that will help

101 has 91 to 100 on all xponders so I'm assuming my my dish is aimed correctly. I have an LNB that has 3 feed horns on it. The leftmost is in the center of the rail the 3 LNB's are on. That leftmost feed horn has 3 small 'bubbles' on it. I assume they are for 99, 101 & 103. Right?

Thank you so much for your assistance. My spot on reference was because of my 90-100 readings on 101. I thought the HD channels came from 119. From the video, looks like I just need to tweek (dither) my dish for 99 & 103. No trees in that direction! Thanks again.

DTV no longer uses the 119 for US programing and it is SD only just like the 101.
