Starz Western Channel
My husband is retired and watching the Western channel and sporting events are what he does for entertainment. AS YOU KNOW, beginning January 1 - the same four-five channels play in the morning and again - WITH THE SAME EPISODES -- in the afternoon. What the heck?????? Why would a business treat your customers that way. Please at least change the episodes so they are not the same.

DTV has no control over what the channels send them, you need to contact the channels.

No, we didn’t know. I don’t watch Starz. In any event, you need to contact Starz, not Directv. As noted, Directv has no control over what any channel shows.

DirecTV is not "treating you this way". They don't have control over what is on the channel.
Contact Starz/Encore if you have a complaint about the episodes they show. Though those channels of classic shows are called Encore for a reason. It is built around people who rewatch them a lot. And more popular ones may get two showings a day to allow for different schedules. I believe the perception is a lot of that viewer base would be watching the channels live, not recording to watch later.
