Streaming CNN
All of a sudden, I cannot stream CNN. It asked me to sign in, but when I click the sign in button, it doesn’t go anywhere. I have tried uninstalling my app and reinstalling it and it worked for about five minutes and then went back to saying there was something wrong and a sign in usually when I hit the sign in it will take me to a list of providers such as DIRECTV and it’s going nowhere.

A couple of weeks ago we had asked for a tech to come help us. Reconnect are Yamaha audio system, and reprogram a remote. The first people to show up were to AT&T representatives that wanted us to switch over our phones and they came before the technician. One of the AT&T sales people played around with our system and got it to work that was short-lived once the Internet went out and then since then we have not been able to reconnect. We really need a technician to come out. We’ve tried over the phone that has not worked and see if they can get our remote to sync up with both of our expensive TV and audio system.

Are you referring to the satellite DirecTV service or the internet streaming service DirecTV Stream. They are 2 separate paid subscription services.

Satellite, the problem is when ever there is a power or internet outage the tv , audio system and tv do not automatically sync up when power is restored, our Yamaha receiver would read out to Direct tv but we can’t get it to reconnect to Direct TV. We have tried to reprogram the remote and it is not working , frustrating

Then you are in the wrong forum. This is not the satellite forum but the forum for the internet streaming service DirecTV Stream.
