Tennis Channel

At&T/Directv why do you create packages so we have to pay more just to get one channel that we want?

i am speaking directly about The Tennis Channel. We pay extra to have it, but then we have to pay a sports fee as well to have the ESPN channels which Grand Slam finals are generally on, & then we also need a certain package to obtain the channels (on mine) 700-709 just to watch the beginnings of Grand Slams   On these ESPN channels we can’t even get a Tennis scoreboard!  All we get while watching Tennis is a scoreboard that has football,basketball, baseball but NO TENNIS SCOREBOARD! 
So we already pay extra several times & now we have to beg to keep it. I have been a customer since day 1 but, I too am getting a little frustrated @ the fact I miss certain shows that you claim is due to some other entity wanting to take these amenities away from us & I am getting tired of begging for something I am currently paying extra to have in order to keep it. A month or so ago it was our local channel- but I am drawing the line @ Tennis!
