Time frame are we looking at for a decision?
What time frame are we looking at in finding out whether or not you will be keeping or dropping CBS and it’s affiliates? To me this is a breach of contract? Does Spectrum stand to make be gains because of this non- negotiation?

That's up to the corporation that owns your local channel. They're the ones threatening to yank their channels unless DirecTV pays more money. And Spectrum doesn't gain anything because they'll go through the same thing when it's their turn. It's not a contract breach because TV provider contracts protect themselves since they can't force station owners to deliver their channels.

If you notice, I also said “and affiliates”. I believe fox and ESPN are affiliates?

No, Fox and ESPN are not "affiliates". ESPN is owned by ABC. They had threatened to pull their channels, but I think that's been settled for now.

What about Fox? And what "Fox" network are you asking about. Your local Fox affiliate is probably owned by one of the handful of corporations that own local stations, like Sinclair. Fox Sports, Fox News, etc, are owned by the Fox Corporation.
Bottom line is that DirecTV does not "drop" channels. Only the channel owner can do that, usually when they want more $$$ than DirecTV is willing to pay, or they go out of business.
