Transfer video files TO the DVR

I recently became a DirecTV customer, and I'm happy with the service so far.  I've been exploring the Media Share options on my HR24 and the streaming is a nice touch! 

I'm wondering if I can take the video files that I already have on my computer and transfer them via the network to the DVR to avoid having to stream from my computer.  This would free up my network and my computer for other things.

I've seen a lot of questions on how to transfer from the DVR to the computer (which sounds like it's not possible), but I can't find anyone asking or answering how to get stuff onto the DVR!
