TV Freezes up on one channel

NBC (channel 11) freezes up. screen is either black or frozen on an image. have reset all the receivers and no change. Recorded shows from that channel do the same thing, but i was able to back up and play again (over and over) to get to the end of the show.

Did you restart your receiver?

Since what you are experiencing is with one channel, the issue might be from the content provider.

To get started, we suggest that you refresh your DIRECT equipment to see if that helps.

we did the reset and no change,... then the next day did it again and left everything unplugged for an hour or so... so far things are better!
