Tv freezing

Good day

My Direct TV service freezes for a few seconds then continues. I’ve unplugged the power from the main receiver and the mini next to it. I have two Sony TVs mounted side by side on the wall. One TV plays fine while the second freezes and then starts again. I watch a lot of sports and have had this set up for about 8 years w/o issue. I plugged the power back and once it connects to the service it is fine for a few minutes then the second TV begins to freeze again on and off every so often on any channel.   Please help.

My equipment:

Genie 2 - main receiver HR44-500

4 Genie Mini

only new item is a remote that was sent to replace an old mal-functioning one.

So, out of your five receivers, one of them freezes on live TV? Which one specifically and what is the model number? This could be an issue with the splitter, the coaxial cable running to the receiver, etc. Try to refresh service of that receiver online (DIRECTV.com).

C31-700 mini is the one that freezes while watching the two TVs

it has worked fine for 7 years and just started doing this. 
i rebooted but should do this on-line as well?

I did not check yesterday when this was happening  if the other TVs with minis were also having an issue.

C31 is the original Genie Mini Client. It's very old and out-dated now. Call DirecTV to request a replacement.
