TV or Cables are not HD message

I have a Sharp HD tv and an H24/700 receiver. I've had this combination for several years.  I came back from vacation and started getting the "TV or Cables are not HD" message.  No change in equipment or cables.

What do I need to do to get rid of this message and get off of standard resolution?

Thanks.

Does the TV have the latest software?

The receiver shows "0xbbb, Wed 6/12, 4:20am" as the software setting.  Thanks for your help.

The TV not the DTV receiver.

I just installed the latest TV software update from the SharpUSA website.  I am still getting the same "Your TV or cables are not HD!" message.
