Unable to connect DirecTV to internet

I have a new DCCK

Ethernet connection between DTV receiver and DTV router

Belkin N router F5D8236-4

Would not connect via WPS method

Tried manual connect Menu>Setup>System Setup>Network Setup>Connect Now with  result code 86-195 "We were unable to connect to the internet.  Would you like to get connected?" > Get Connected>Wireless(Does the DCCK come with a wireless adapter?)>Continue(after checking wireless adapter for about 20 seconds)>Connect Now>Problem detected Error Info>86-195

Not sure if we have the wireless adapter

I'm connected.  The manual that came with the DCCK said to have your tv & DTV receiver powered on before connecting.  I re-connected with the DTV receiver powered OFF and when I tried to connect again it worked.

Good for you.  For other readers of this post a point to consider.  Connecting the Wireless Cinema Connection kit is a two step process.  The first step requires connecting the kit to the router and involves choosing your network and entering the pass code.  The second step requires connecting the DVR to the router and Internet.  When first connected, it takes a bit of time for the "we found a device, do you want to connect?" to appear on the TV screen.  If you get impatient and try to force the issue, failure will occur.
