unable to view jpeg pictures

I have recently installed mediashare and am unable to view my pictures on WMP11 using Vista. They are all in jpeg format. They show up as yellow triangles with an exclamation point. I tried putting them in a public folder but that didn't work either. Any other ideas? Thanks
