Update for the H20 Constant Reboot problem 7/30/06...
I finally talked to a knowledgeable advanced tech support person today. The latest is that:
1. They are aware of it, and are working on a resolution, the best thing to do is to have more people call to escalate the issue...most people do not have an H20 or 5lnb yet thu sit is not of the highest priority...yet (but I was assured it is a "higher" priority item...plus I was told that they are required to log each issue and the Supervisor MUST be informed of the advanced tech issues.
2. MOst of the problems are with the 600 model receiver.
3. it HAS been nailed down to software issue, thus they will NOT replace the box with a new one (I tried to get the 100)
4. It is mostly happening on HD channels (especially local if you get thwm...I don't but the Ny feeds seem to act up more)
5. It has MOST LIKELY been nailed down to the 0F14 update on 7/11.
That'sa ll I got fopr now...keep you fingers crossed...mine has reset 16 times since 10 am!!!!!
