Video blanks out for 5 to 10 seconds exiting DVR function

I have a Mits WD-73735 connected via a Mits 3DC-1000 converter using a HR24-500 HD DVR. I've got a problem when when I exit a DVR function like 30second skip, FF or RW the video blanks out, it appears that the DVR and TV are resyncing the signal. I tried another HR24-500 and the same problem happens. For grins I connected a HR23-700 using all the same cables, inputs, etc and it doesn't have the problem DVR functions as expected.

Is this with all channels or just 3D channels? 3D channels only blank on my Panasonic. Maybe the converter causes all channels to behave like 3D channels.

I have an HR22 with a WD 73833 and have experienced similar problems when swithing from 3D to 2D.  I usually switch the TV to 2D mode then change channels on the DVR. I have had to switch the DVR on and off sometimes two or three times to get a picture back.. With the 3D being so new and the Mits adaptor in line with the TV is it hard to tell who the culprit is...

Nope, just on the 3D channels, the 2D channels are fine. And it's only with the HR24 as the source, the HR23 has no issues.

I think that's going to be normal, the resync when you first go to 3D from 2D since your going from 1080i to 1080p (see the same thing before the getting the 3D adapter when watching a 1080p DirecTV on Demand program).

If it's only on the 3D channels, that it normal for the HR24. A software update may change that in the future.

Well, that's a failry poor normal then when using a DVR function causes the issue. I've attached a WMV file so you can see how poor DVR functions are.

My Panny is not nearly that bad. It loses video and audio for a split second after pressing a trick play button such as Skip. You have the converter and the TV involved and I only have the TV. The converter might be needing a software upgrade sometime in the future as well.

I might buy the converted needing some software, that is if the HR23 also had this problem, but it doesn't, only the HR24.
