Please tell us, have you tried installing the Videoguard on another device?
You may want to delete cache and cookies, and restart your device also, try using a different browser.
Let us know how that goes.

Same problem here. Will not install (VideoGuard completes, DirecTV web interface says it has installed, but first use says that it is not installed) I have the same problem on my iMac and MacBook Air (both running Monterey 12.0.1 and Safari 15.1) It also happens on Firefox 95.0.2. Clearing cache, browser, and system restarts have no effect.

We appreciate you are sharing this experience with us.
Have you tried removing the app and install it again? Also, is this issue happening in other devices?
Let us know how it goes.

iPad app operates normally. There is no 'app' on a desktop (iMac) or laptop (MacBook). It does not display in the applications folder. VideoGuard 13.0.dmg does not have an 'uninstall' option.

Hey @chipslanier. We'd be glad to discuss your application installation.
We don't have any information when VideoGuard will be updated to work without Adobe Flash, as currently no browsers support it anymore.
Let us know if you have anymore questions.

How, then, can I watch my DirecTV subscription on my laptop? Should I search for another streaming service?

A workaround was not on the page you linked to. Flash was disabled over a year ago. Is there any method to watch DirecTV as advertised on my laptop/desktop?

I am having the same frustrating problem and have tried everything I saw anyone recommending here - and everything I could otherwise think of on my own - for over a month now. Have tried installing VideoGuard at least 30 times now. No joy. I'm on hold with directv telephone technical support now, but am not hopeful I will get competent effective help (from the lack of competent effective responses here). I will certainly let you know if I find out about a fix for this. Please let me know if you discover anything that works. Thank you. Kindest Regards, Joe.

Has anyone come up with a solution from either DirecTV or a DTV customer? Not being able to stream on my desktop/laptop is in direct conflict with their advertising and I am not getting the service I signed up for.
