Volume problems in HD

Hello all,

About a week ago, the voices on nearly all the HD channels began coming in so low that I can barely hear them (there are a few that come in fine). The music, however, continues at full volume. When I change to the same channel in non-HD, the voices come in perfectly fine. I noticed when I click the "format" button on the Directv remote, it has a few different formats for 480i, but nothing for 720 or 1080. My TV is a Samsung 52" plasma 1080p tv. The same thing happens when I watch recorded shows or movies on the DVR, the voices are so low that I can barely hear them. Does anyone have a clue if I accidentally changed something or what is going on? Your help is greatly appreciated.
