Walking Dead AMC picture not in HD

What model Receiver do you have?  Look for the label on the rear panel or behind the front panel access card door. 

Was this the airing from 6pm Pacific?

If so, I encountered the same problem and I think I know why...

When I set my season pass I did so on channel 254 last year during season 1...that is, long BEFORE the channel was being broadcast in HD. 

Last week I watched the premiere live so I was watching in HD.

This week it recorded the standard def version because that's what was programmed. It showed it was recorded from "amc" and not "AMCHD". I went into the guide and recorded the 8.30pm airing and that was in HD. So I'm going to delete the current season pass and add a new for the AMCHD channel.

Thank you all so very much, I wondered if this was the issues. I will try rescheduling the season pass and hope that is enough to fix the issue! I want my zombies in HD! 😃

Just throwing this out there. If you setup "favorites" then they probably won't show up in the guide automatically. I had to go in and add AMC HD and remove AMC. 

I had same problem. And when I search for WD in HD it does not appear in search results. I literally have to scroll to the time slot and record the series from the show next Sunday.
