watch direct tv online

I am unable to watch any DirecTV channels online on my Mac. I keep getting it starting but comes up with an error "Im sorry we ran into an error, please restart the player...

I didn't see the text response until today. The last questions were:- Operating System Name and Version: - Browser Name and Version: - DIRECTV Player Version: Thank you, Catalina, DIRECTV Community Specialist

my response:

The operating system is Monterey 12.4

Browser is Chrome version Version 102.0.5005.115 (Official Build) (arm64)

DirecTV player version 5.0.9

Julian, the messaging won't accept the copy all and send in messaging. So I tried to make a PDF and attach and there isn't that ability. I can try here.

Was what I sent what they needed? I have more of the text from the beginning I can send in separate pieces. Looks like I'm limited in 1000 characters per message.

I am having the same issue. Today, I was able to get the VideoGuard player installed, and the stream will actually start. After about 15 seconds though, it will say "Sorry we ran into a problem Please restart the video player."

macOS Monterey 12.4, M1 MacBook Pro

Tested with Safari and Chrome.

I just sent Julian the entire error during the event in Chrome. I also noted too that my iMac OS version High Sierra 10.13.6, Safari 13.1.2 and Chrome v102.0.5005.115 have the same problem. Appears this might be a problem with Mac software or hardware using the player.
