West Coast Streaming Feeds
Noticed everything is on east coast time schedule in the guide. I was hoping once it detects the home location it would switch the schedule over but looks like everything is still 3 hours off.
Anyone know if there are any plans to allow for West Coast timezone scheduled feeds?

Satellite providers generally only provide the East Coast feed for cable networks that offer both West and East Coast feeds. There are only a few DirecTV networks that provide both feeds, such as HBO, Nickelodeon, and a few others. There's limited satellite capacity to offer both feeds for every network.
It's generally not an issue when you have a DVR because you can simply record those shows and view them at your convenience.

DTV receivers have no idea where they are it is the account that determines what you get.

Yeah, it's not clear if the OP is asking about all of the Guide Data being off by 3-hours. Or asking about the lack of West Coast feeds for some cable channels.

Unfortunately, DIRECTV Stream only has the Eastern time feeds. Why can’t they also get the Western time feeds?
Also, Nick Jr should also have a Western time feed on channel number 301-1, in HD and SD. The SD feed should have the same setup as the Eastern SD feed, with shows in 16:9 being downscaled, but shows in 4:3 being aired in their native ratio.
Additionally, the Western time feed for Nickelodeon should also be in HD on Channel 300, and the SD version should be changed so it can have the same setup as the Eastern SD feed, with shows in 16:9 being downscaled, but shows in 4:3 being aired in their native ratio.
I don’t know, but if DIRECTV plans to do this, they have to get in touch with Paramount Global and see if it’s OK.
