What are the Port and Poxy Setting for the Directv cinema
I am running a watch guard 505. When I by past the unit all together I can get VOD. When I use the 505 I get that the unit is connected. The video says it is at 100% and 0 min. It stays there for days. I am figuring that it is a port or proxy setting does anyone know what those are? The 505 has very thing turned off by default. Other then VOD my system works great. I can get apps.

A Watchguard 505? That is some serious hardware....
I'm guess logging is turned on on this firewall, you should hopefully see what ports are being blocked. You should be able to resolve your receiver's IP from System Setup/ Network Setup menu at which point your should be able to narrow the inbound traffic to the receiver. Here is is a sample of the inbound traffic (with ports) to my receiver:
[LAN access from remote] from 147.21.10.54:56536 to 157.50.1.3:27161
[LAN access from remote] from 8.3.161.214:44769 to 157.50.1.3:27161

There are no errors or blocked traffic. And all the same problems happen when I have them on a network out side my fire wall. I can ether have VOD or have the receivers see each other. The second I plug in the RJ45 to a network some of the receivers can not see each other some do. I have to red button boot all of them after I down load for them to communicate. Two tech where out here for 7 hours on Wednesday. Then a different one was back for 8 hours on Thursday. No change. I am thinking it is not my fire wall because I can down load movies to them but not share in between all of them. They may all see each other but one or only two will see each other and any combination of seeing or not and not always the same ones.
