Hi @janahale I understand that you are trying to watch court tv.
Unfortunately Court Tv is a sub channel and we currently do not carry it at this moment. Here is more information on court tv and others ways to watch it.
Please let me known if this helps or not Michael.D AT&T Communication Specialist

Regular channel lineup: DIRECTV Channel Lineup List (att.com)
Locals: www.directv.com/locals (sub-channels such as Court TV would be via regular antenna, not DirecTV)
Regional Sport Networks: www.directv.com/rsn

I am a customer of Uverse for years. In July of 2021 they stopped showing Court Tv in Florida on channel 1044. Why? I am truly disappointed and will consider ending my subscription if they don't get it back. I will not subscribe to DIRECT TV

I agree. I am so disappointed in this service. Court TV is a great station watched by many. I can't believe they have taken if off the cable list. I see where you have to subscribe to Direct TV to get it. I am livid. Will think of changing services.

mgertsman, did you just agree with yourself? That may be a sign of something.
Court TV became TruTV a while back. Then a new Court TV launched as an affiliate network, so, um... I'm not sure how U-verse would have picked that up, either.
I'd also point out that while, technically, DIRECTV does own U-verse TV, AT&T is handling most of the support and operations and the forum for complaining about U-verse TV is still in the AT&T Community forums.
That forum is here:

I’ve been a Directv customer since 2001. You might want to add Courtv and Courtv mystery or you might lose me to Dish. I stayed at a friend’s beach house and they had Dish and I loved all the channels they carry that you don’t. You might want to add some of those or lose me.

@psycho821 this is a customer forum and we are customers just like you. Your opinion about DIRECTV’s obligation to have Court TV and Court TV mystery is not going to happen any time soon as they are sub-channels. DIRECTV only has a certain amount of space on their satellites, and the capacity as well as carriage agreeements needed to add a dozen sub-channels for every local channel market is not worth the cost for them. You can TRY SETTING UP AN OVER-THE-AIR (OTA) TV antenna and plugging it into the back of your television to receive these local channels free of charge but DIRECTV will not add these. If Dish is your option and you are not willing to simply buy or use an existing antenna for Court TV, be my guest and switch.

Court TV is a sub-channel.
DirecTV in general, doesn't carry sub-channels.
We don't care if you go to Dish as this is a customer-to-customer forum.
Thread is about a year old with no change to these answers.
Thread closed to avoid further repetitiveness.

Great news! Court TV, is now available on channel 4230, for the DIRECTV STREAM and via internet customers. Hopefully satellite will have this channel added soon, as well.
