Why is my ESPN 206 blacked out

I live in Columbus. I want to watch the Buckeyes play Miami. it says College Football Scoreboard is blacked out on this channel. Hey *&*&(**(( at DIRECTV I PAY FOR THIS CHANNEL.

College football blackout rules will never make sense.  First, be sure that the game isn't being broadcast on one of your local channels.  And note that you can "thank" those teams and the NCAA for these rules.  It's not DirecTV's decision.

Note that the cute large fonts and quasi curse words are pretty much wasted on most folks that view your query.  A Google of "college football black out" reported this site.

Why is espn blacked out for red sox game.  tells me its going to find station its playing on and it sends me to 206 espn?   Hello??

The game that day wasn't an exclusive game, so people in Red Sox territory had to watch it on NESN and people in Indians territory had to watch it on Sports Time Ohio.
