Why is my "receiver not ready" again and again??
I have had techs come out twice and nothing is repaired. My VOD is still not working. Why would they close a ticket if it is still not working? I have had the receiver rebooted, red button pushed, something from AT&T sent to the box, waited 48 hours, nothing and nothing. The receiver has been replaced. The modem has been replaced. The receiver is wired directly to the modem. It has an IP address. I have opened all ports on the modem for UDP and TCP that the receiver uses or may use. I tried manual config of the receiver with no luck. Why should I worry about the Internet when the speed check says 4K and you are "ready to start downloading and using all the services of on-demand"? The speed check and the report from the receiver that it is "connected to the Internet" and the SWIM is connected. What's wrong with a tech that blames the ISP when I can do everything on my computer and I setup his smart phone for WiFi and he checked the speed on his phone and it was awesome, and he can get to any website? And then he just leaves with the "Okay, give that 24 hours". Such **** poor service and customer care. You people should be ashamed at stealing your own customer's money. My service has NEVER worked and you have yet to make it right either by back pay or correcting the issue. What is the "receiver not ready, wait 3 hours" supposed to mean??? Now, tell me ***** is wrong with my on-demand service!!!!!!!!
