Hello @SDPilot,
Yesterday evening, we were experiencing technical difficulties with the fox news channel on the DIRECTV app. We have resolved the issue and are back up and running! We apologize for the inconvenience.
If you are still experiencing an issue, we recommend logging out of the DIRECTV app and doing a power cycle on your device(s). This should clear any previous errors.
Let us know if you still need further assistance.

FOX "news" is registered with the FCC as an entertainment channel, NOT a NEWS channel. I think that FIX should be forced to give up the facade. Their should be a law requiring them to remove the word "news" from their stations, because they are NIT news; they're (Edited per community guidelines), period.

A short while back, FOX was being sued for stating myths and lies as fact. Their defense was this: NO "REASONABLE" VIEWER SHOULD BELIEVE OUR COMMENTARY ON ANY OF OUR PROGRAMS AS BASED IN FACT OR SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN. WE ARE SIMPLY AN ENTERTAINMENT CHANNEL, NOT A "NEWS" CHANNEL IN THE TYPICAL JOURNALISTIC OR FACTUAL SENSE OF THE WORD.
The Wendy Williams Show, Dr. Phil, Maury Povich, Jerry Springer, et. al., are also forms of "news," as they inform the public of the latest "news" on movie stars, public figures, and Hollywood's, along with other industry's, GOSSIP. They're entertainment channels, the same way FOX "News" is entertainment programming; they ALL offer the latest in rumors and conspiracy theories; hunches and new ideas on their topics. I suppose that's "news," but it's unproven, and it's DEFINITELY not based on facts or proof.
