721 Error on 4K channels?
I figured when I got 4K added to my Directv account that I could watch all programming on the 3 live 4K channels(104-106) including all the live sports even if it was out of market. However I get the 721 error on live sports. One was shown on NBATV which is in my package but it wouldn’t show the 4K feed. One was on NBC sports and it did allow me to watch the 4K feed. How does this work?Refresh Receiver never works for me. Does the event have to be in market?

Black out rules apply to 4K sports programs just the same as regular sports programs.

I'm getting this error on ABC regular TV (not sport) right now. This keeps happening on various channels....has happened on CBS non sports channels before. These channels have worked before but then I get some sort of weird rolling 721 across various channels. Resetting the box does not work. I'm paying money for channels I'm not getting. It's so frustrating.

Thanks. I guess my confusion was with the term “blackout”. I’ve only ever thought of that to mean you can’t watch it if your local RSN or OTA channel was broadcasting that same game. I didn’t think that it would also apply to mean I can’t watch any of the out of market 4K sports events unless being nationally broadcast on a major network...that means I won’t get to watch hardly any of the 4K sports games... a little misleading but I guess ultimately I’m not paying any extra on my package for it...
