My sat channels are working fine, if you have the DTV via internet AKA DTV streaming then try their forum.

Umm "Global" outage?
My household hasn't had an issues recently. And a service-wide issue would have expected to get the forum flooded about it.
What service do you have? DirecTV (satellite) or DIRECTV STREAM / DirecTV by Internet (streaming-only options)
Describe full issue (symptoms, error message, what equipment, etc.)
What (if anything) have you tried to resolve the issue?
Where did you see it listed as a "Global Outage"?

8.5+ million Windows computers went down on July 19 due to a CrowdStrike security update gone wrong. A lot are still not back online.
